Kiwi electronic wunderkind BAYNK releases new song and announces New Zealand tour


Kiwi songwriter, producer and artist BAYNK has today released a new single ‘Water’ and announced his return to New Zealand for a four-date nationwide tour.

The electronic music wunderkind will play Auckland’s iconic Powerstation on July10; Meow in Wellington on July 11; the Foundry in Christchurch on July 12 and the Dunedin Union Hall on July 13.

The tour will follow BAYNK’s headline tour of the US and performances at the famed US festival Coachella, while serving as a warm-up for the Good Vibes Festival in Kuala Lumpur and this year’s Lollapalooza at Chicago’s historic Grant Park.

NZ-born, US-based BAYNK has taken the world by storm, clocking up tens of millions of streams on Spotify, playing packed shows and festivals around the globe and drawing critical acclaim for his effortlessly smooth and infectiously catchy cuts.

‘Water’ comes in anticipation of his sophomore EP, SOMEONE’S EP II, which is set to be released May 15.

Born Jock Nowell-Usticke, BAYNK has seen a meteoric rise from sheer obscurity to the brink of breakout in just two years with releases amassing 82M+ plays on Spotify alone.
